Who We Are
Africa Agribusiness Management Institute (AAMI) is founded to serve as a vehicle to provide the requisite agribusiness management capacity building to both the public and private sectors of Africa.
AAMI was incorporated under the Companies Act of Ghana, 1963 (Act 179) as a Limited Liability Company with the registration code CS54290 on the 7th of January, 2015 to provide agribusiness management capacity building to both the public and private sectors of Africa.
The mission and objectives of AAMI are consistent with the three-strategic thrust of the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme’s (CAADP) that seek to achieve enhanced agricultural productivity, competitiveness and regional integration. It also reflects the vision of the NEPAD Agribusiness Strategy.

Our Strategic Goals
The aim of AAMI is to achieve the following:
- Contribute to building a “dynamic agribusiness sector that generates jobs and contributes to proverty reduction.
- Support in the creation of a conducive environment for increased private sector investment in Africa’s agriculture”.
- Contribute to the development of a robust agribusiness value chains across the continent.
- Attain an Awarding Body Status for Agriculture, Agribusiness and Rural Development training.
